It was one fun and productive week as you will see!
Everyone is playing productively and completing fun projects. I think the alligator paper puppets were a hit. Buddy Bear said to tell you that he is enjoying his weekends with his friends. It is so fun to hear all the places he has been already.
The children listened intensively while Pastor Paul spoke on how much Jesus loves His children (our children). I hope they were reminded of His great love for them as they colored the page we sent home with them showing just that.
Joe was anxious to show me his robot shirt! Now that is a cool shirt!

Fun Friday!
This was a very productive Friday. So many learning tools (toys) to discover and have fun with!
We covered the letters: Aa, Bb and Cc and the sounds they make. Together it sounds like, Abaca. I used this technique to help them remember the sounds of the leading letters to the alphabet. It seemed an easy process for them and they went away saying it over and over again. It made me proud! We sang a silly song called, "Apples and Bananas" and we giggled to the story, Dr. Seuss's ABC Book.
We had apples and bananas with Ovaltine milk, (yum), and read about the letters and some books about Jesus during library time. From there we proceeded to our classrooms to do the silly letter people. They were fun to make come alive with eyes, arms, legs and hair. A worksheet with items to match their beginning sounds was completed also.
Once everything was placed in our backpacks, we proceeded back to the Kid's Church to play the game, Whack-a-Mole.
Now you know why we call it, Fun Friday!
Sorry for the large photos below. Please adjust your
photo size on your computer to view it properly.
Dear Parents, please test your child on the skills we covered to see if they picked up what was covered. This will be beneficial as we prepare them for Kd.
Thank You!
