Week #33

A week about me! That was our theme for our classes this past week. We learned a short story to take home and read to family members about themselves. I am sure they made you as proud as they did me. Then we traced their bodies so next week they can draw in their faces and color their hair, clothes, etc. We will then send them home to hang in a special place to display. My plans are to do the same thing next year so please hold on to them so as to compare how much they grew and have changed in the years time. I think we will all be amazed.
We leaned the sound the letter Xx makes and how to make two lazy lines meet in the middle for writing the letter. For the memory game the items to remember were: Exit, x-ray, XOXO (symbol for kiss, hug, kiss, hug), and xylophone. The happy dance was performed by the students meaning I lost at the game.:) I like to pretend I am sad that I lost but I never am. Always proud to lose at that game. Well, hope everyone checks out the fun pictures from the past week. Please encourage friends and family to do the same!

Week #32

Painting our little fish, squirting water, and discovering things from the ocean in the water table was so much fun and educating.  We sorted our edible goldfish and munched them down. We even got to play outside this week! We learned all about the letter Ww and word WOW!
The fish we painted are now dry and hanging on the hall bulletin boards.  We added a googly eye, dots, and some sparkles. You must check them out after dropping off your child. Each day we sang a silly song about some goldfish and sang many fun songs with Pastor Bob at chapel time. As I heard some friends say, "Playing with water is so much fun!"
