The tree is up and now it is time to decorate it. We cut and glued shapes together to make angels to make our tree into an angel tree. It turned out beautiful! We practiced our songs each day for the Christmas program which is coming fast. Pastor Paul and Ms.Teri read the bible story and a tour was taken around the alter to get a close up look at the decorations and advent candle. A lullaby was sung at the nativity scene and our December bible story ended with a prayer.
Elf on the Shelf showed up this week on our wooden airplane and on our door knob. The students arrive anxiously each day to find his new location. St. Nick left us all a yummy treat in our stocking and we had a wonderful visitor, Mrs. Michelle Corbin (Kendall's mother), who is a first grade teacher at Ireland Elementary. Mrs Corbin read her student's favorite Christmas story to our Tue\Thur. am class. It was wonderful having her join us and sharing the Christmas spirit with us. Thank you Michelle!
