Week #23

Wow! What an awesome week this was! We started by making our friend the octopus.
We gave him or her a name and now are showing them off in the hall.  We learned about the letter Oo and
won the memory game by remembering what was in the box that started with our letter for the week. Because of that we got to do the happy dance. As they would say, Sorry Ms. Donna". I reply back, that it is okay and that I am glad they remembered. We ate Oreos and enjoyed some healthy Ovaltine milk or white milk. Some students had Cheerios if they preferred. Everyone is doing well making the letter for the week on the board and earning their stamps for that and for finding the letter in a book also.  Show and tell is winding down but hope those few that were sick for theirs will bring it in soon. I want everyone to have their turn.
We will skip a month for show and tell then schedule one again in March.
Now, I can not go without saying that our first field-trip to Hodgini was a complete success except for those who were out sick and missed the experience. Some things just can not be helped.  For that I do have regrets but hope for the next field trip that we will have full and healthy classes attending. Those pictures have been downloaded on another blog post. You do not want to miss seeing everyone participating in the fun and process of learning!
Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed spending the day there with them!
