Here we go again! I finally shopped for some toys and things with the money given for the classroom
from our generous parents. It sure is fun surprising our students with new toys at school!
The children constructed a robot this week with shapes for the letter Rr and then named their new friend
before taking them home. I enjoyed hearing all the names they came up with. We also learned a little about Presidents, especially Abraham Lincoln. Each child got a penny to take home to tell you his picture is
on every penny. In case they forgot to tell you, please ask them to see if they remember his name and any other information they might of learned about Honest Abe during his time here in Indiana and Kentucky.
It is amazing and sometimes funny to hear them tell it back to you.
Well, hope to see a lot of you at the cookie decorating fundraiser tonight.
See you there!
