Week #13

Oh what a fun week!
We practice our cutting and gluing skills by making GeeGee the elephant.
Then we put her in the alphabet train and compiled a short story about where she is going and what she is doing there.  The children came up with great stories that you can now see on the engine of our class trains in the hall. Please stop to take a closer look as you drop off the children before class.  We plan on sending the elephants home next week to make room for our silly turkeys. The turkeys will go in the train too, so look for a new story.
When it comes to Thanksgiving and talking about Native Americans,
I am always in the groove!
We learned how the Indians danced and sang with the instruments they made and
had a little pow-wow of our own.
Next week is all about Thanksgiving and Indians. This is definitely my favorite time of year.
